Many of my projects begin as custom orders. It's a fairly formal process that usually starts out something like "Hey! Can ya build one of these?

The items below are examples of these. I had no idea what a tailor's clapper was until I built 18 of them for a client. The ruler rack followed suit. And the quilt rack was for a very special customer of mine who has bought nearly one item from everything in my inventory!

Tailor's Clapper - A great tool to give a long-lasting sharp crease or perfectly flat seams in quilting squares. Made of solid oak, the base measures 8" long by 3" wide and 13/4" thick.

Quilting ruler racks. Made from solid cherry (shown). Also available in walnut, maple, basswood and oak. Has nine 1/4" slots for holding rulers. Measures 18" long by 6" wide. NOTE: These can also be custom made to the size you want.
